  • Access to Shibahara-handai-mae Station of Osaka Monorail.
    The Department of Science is on the Toyonaka campus, and its nearest station is Shibahara-handai-mae Station of Osaka Monorail.

    • Air plane
      Our campus is close to Osaka International Airport (ITM). From the airport, it takes about 10 minutes to Shibahara-handai-mae Station by monorail. By contrast, it takes about 2hours from Kansai International Airport (KIX) to our campus, so we recommend to use Osaka International Airport (ITM).
    • Shinkansen
      Take the subway Midosuji Line from Shin-Osaka Station to Senri-chuo Station which is the final stop of the line. The Midosuji Line is changed to Kita Osaka Kyuko Line on the way to Senri-Chuo, but you don't need to transfer because it is changed automatically. （route map of subway）
      At Senri-Chuo Station, transfer from Kita Osaka Kyuko line to Osaka Monorail, and get off at Shibahara-handai-mae Station.
      The one-way-fare is 250 yen from Senri-Chuo to Shibahara-handai-mae.

  • Access to F building of the Department of Science from Shibahara Station
    Go down an escalator which is on the left side of the ticket gate at Shibahara Station, then go straight along the street. On the way to the main gate, there is a small gate for Osaka University (SHIBAHARA-gate), but it is better for you to pass the small gate as it is easier to find our building from the main gate. It takes about 5 minutes to the main gate from Shibahara Station by walk.
    The F building of the Department of Science is on the right side at the main gate.

  • Hotel
    We recommend to stay near Senri-chuo Station because it's convenient to get our campus.
    Also there are some hotels around Osaka International Airport (ITM) and Esaka Station of the Midosuji Line.
    Hotels around Ishibashi Station are inconvenient since it takes about 20 minutes on foot from Ishibashi Gate.
    In any case, it is convenient for you to stay near the stations of Osaka Monorail.
